Points. You seem to think volume makes him great at something. He's not better than Barcello at anything, and definitely not more dynamic or versatile or whatever else term you guys are misunderstanding.
Btw, he had plenty of games where he did little and his complete lack of efficiency but still the selfish will to shoot, showed its ugly face.
This whole thing is also purely situational. Like I said, Barcello already showed he can play two spots. Mcclung is just a scoring off guard. And a really inefficient one. Plus you're basing it on last year. Almost everyone meaningful will return. Great chance of Barcello and Haarms back. A year in the system for other younger guys. They already have more scoring ability by default.
So how is he really an upgrade? Barcello scored more, in a more meaningful way that contributes to a team win. He plays 2 spots. He went out and averaged 5 boards as a 6'2 point. He's going to go down as the #1 3pt shooter in byu history.
