with their Creative Suite of software. Many moons ago, way before Creative Cloud existed, I purchased Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. I had a video editing hobby. It was not a cheap hobby. I believe Premiere set me back $600. I went on my mission, came home, and Premiere no longer worked. My parents had upgraded Windows and Adobe didn't patch the version of Premiere I had. There was no way to make it work. My only option was to purchase an upgraded license and get a version of Premier that was basically identical to mine, but with a few more features. After that experience, I never purchased another Adobe product.
