Walmart and Amazon both have models for $70. I've occasionally seen them cheaper, but it's not common.
I think I bought a pair on Amazon during a sale for $60 a couple year ago. Still expensive, though, I will give you that. They aren't cheap and Nintendo has really been disappointing in how they've handled the situation.
