I somewhat agree, but there are some types of Games, like 7 Wonders, where

I now just consider it a game on my phone. I don't want to play it live any more, but I can knock out a game in 5-7 min on my phone when I'm waiting for something. It's a more enjoyable experience than spending than 5X - 10X that amount of time at a table.
