Little? I think alot. He played his entire college career
on a team that was heads and shoulders better talent wise than the teams they played. His WR were 5+ft open almost every play, and he had one of the best RB in the country as a safety valve on every passing down.

I think he is talented, but I think he will struggle for the first few years getting used to the speed of the game at the NFL level, and his team not having the huge talent gap over their competition.

When I say "a lot" when it comes to overrated, I don't mean he isn't a good QB; but IMO that is what he is, a GOOD QB. He will be a middle of the road NFL quarterback - not the "Generational Talent" that they keep spouting. I do hope he has a fantastic career, and I wish him all the best though. I just don't understand why everyone thinks this guy is leagues and bounds better than every other QB in the class; I just don't see that on the film. If he turns out to be like a Jared Goff, or Matthew Stafford I think that will be fantastic; I think the Jags at that point spent their 1st round pick wisely; but I don't see them as "Generational" talents, just good quality QBs. I mean, does Mel Kiper and all these other "experts" really think there hasn't been a QB as good as Trevor Lawrence in the last 20-30 years?

QBs in the NFL are a unique position; it really comes down to will the team a QB goes to surround him with the team he needs to succeed. No matter how talented you are, the system and talent around you will determine how successful you are.
