Taysom 4 Heisman All-American
My wife and I talked about this just last week.
We realize there are things we do that have replaced these social events we did as kids. We do trips to the gas station for a drink, trips to the arcade just to try and win a stuffed animal, trips to Walmart or Target for a simple snack. Family game night has become one of the more important things we do together now. My wife loves to surprise her friends with a fun gift like their favorite treat. We often go to the park just to play catch.

But I agree simple social interactions that I was fond of as a child have been lost. Like trips to Blockbuster, clothes shopping, the arcade to play my favorite video game all day, trips to the bank...etc. This evolution has definitely been a 2 edged sword for many people, because if you choose you can live a life of isolation.
