...and thats where its been since then. Not even a high yield, just a credit union. They panicked when the market crashed and I'm not sure if they thought it would go to 0, or what.

I'm helping with their taxes and I don't want them to feel bad, so I won't ask further. My wife told me when and why they did it when I asked her why they had so much interest income and no cap gains,dividends, etc.
