Based on what? Are rookies constantly among the top of the list in INTs?
Is that standard? Are they throwing more than veterans? I mean, last year the top 10 in INTs included some of the most prolific and veteran QBs in the game like Wilson, Brady, Rivers, Ryan. Other bigger names like Goff and Wentz and Cousins. Herbert isn't on that list. And he was 4th in attempts.

Not many rookies start right away, so how do you know right off the bat that they struggle with this more than most other guys? Veterans top the list every year.
2018 might be the worst year recently but I don't think I'd call it the norm. It's been getting better too. Better QBs. Wilson isn't Goff.

Also there's a trend with the worst abusers, so it seems to be more about the individual and maybe their team, rather than whether or not it's just because they're rookies. Winston is just Winston. His INTs have been there his whole career. So his rookie year with 15 isn't some outlier just because he was a rookie. It's just him. Shoot, Matt Ryan has been one of the worst offenders for years.

Just curious how you immediately knew this is a big problem for rookies, and it's specifically a rookie thing.

Adjusting to the next level speed is normal, but this is an overblown point on CB. Windows don't necessarily close faster in the NFL. Timing and anticipation and vision matters more than anything. I couldn't stand seeing byu fans all season long saying "oh he couldn't do that in the NFL."

He made it work in college for the same reasons he can make it work in the pros. Those things don't change.
