I'm thinking of getting a porch heater. Last year I got one of the Amazon Basics propane ones - but the insulation on the propane line kept lighting on fire every time we fired it up - no bueno.
I have a covered porch that is about 8-9 feet tall. If I could get a heater out there it would extend our ability to use it about 2 months in the spring and 1 month in the fall. I'm really intrigued by some of the gravity-fed pellet options. We have a sawmill in town that processes mostly red fir, and so there are a few pellet mills here. I could get red fir pellets for pretty dang cheap.
Does anybody here own one? If so, how do you like it? Is it worth the extra cost from propane? I'm checking out the Q Flame and the Treager Timber.
