Machado is traditionally a slow starter, but he appears to be heating up. Pham had been almost useless until today.

The rotation is going to be killer with Lamet coming back next week, though. If he’s healthy, that pushes Musgrove to the fourth starter and then Paddack to fifth. That is downright filthy. The only rotation that can really match that is the Dodgers.

And Nola comes back soon, too.

The defense is a major concern though.
