Exactly, the Kings were the last place that Jimmer could have done well, after they fired Westpaul,8-9 games into his first season. Michael Malone has admitted that he was never a Jimmer fan, which leads to Isaiah Thomas Jr getting more playing time. It really makes me wonder what a different career Fredette could have had, had he been able to go to a team coached by a guy like Snyder, Pop, or someone who could actually allowed him to learn. Jimmer’s game was far from complete when drafted and needed some good NBA coaching to help him develop into a better defender and off the ball player. Pop really liked him, but by that time he had already established himself in China and would have been turning down a big financial opportunity by continuing to sit on the bench or play more in the G league. He put way too much pressure on himself in Phoenix and New York, and never could settle down and play his game.
