He's a sensible man, so I'm sure that his money has been well taken care of, and there is no "need" to play. There's simply no reason to jeopardize future health at this point. With the horrific leg injury that he suffered, I doubt there will be a day in his life that his body doesn't remind him of it. I might feel a little bit differently if he were the starter for a legitimate contender, but he isn't.
