His 2020 passes were consistently on-target and on-a-rope more so than I have
ever seen for a BYU QB for an entire season. When I saw him launch passes over 40 yards down field, I just expected someone to catch it every time.

Absolutely no. This is how you know you can disregard whatever this writer says about anything

He also has Mac Jones 5th QB at #14, and Parsons from Penn St at #15.

2019 absolutely, but describing his 2020 season like that is asinine

Yep, previous seasons he was inconsistent but we saw the talent.

I truly believe the excuse that his shoulder was jacked up in 2019.

If there were a bunch of G5 QBs putting up 200 efficiencies against G5 teams, then they might have a point

That's conflating multiple years of play with his 12 most recent games

If you take his whole career, there is some truth. But "flashes of brilliance" is an understatement

if "inconsistent" means brilliance in every game of the season, then YES.

Maybe that is it. Inconsistently bad.

I get some of the critiques from analysts outside the BYU loop. They're not

Analysis aside, I really like how his mock goes. It makes a lot of sense

Unfortunately this won't be able to be disputed until 2 years into his pro caree

I think we can dispute today that he had one of the most consistent years ever.

Here's Wilson's passing efficiency rating (PER) against opponents defensive passing efficiency.
