"He didn't even win Finals MVP without KD." People were excited about how Iguodala played in the 2015 Finals (and he did play really well), but by any objective measure Steph was the MVP of that series. The media got caught up in the story, but Steph Curry is the reason the Warriors won those Finals. Steph's Usage was 29.5, Iguodala's was 18.7. One guy was excellent as a role player, the other was really good as a Star. One averaged 26 PPG, the other averaged 16.3 PPG. One guy was hounded all over the floor and still produced while the other made a few wide open big shots. And I'm not discounting what Iguodala did on the defensive end against LeBron, but that effort was meaningless without Steph on the floor as the focal point of the entire team.

I compare Iggy winning Finals MVP to Jeff Kent winning the NL MVP in 2000. Barry Bonds was the better player by every measurable stat, but Kent was a great story, so the media gave it to him.
