but that would be a great pickup if Pope did. From what little I read it sounds like he wants to transfer somewhere, play one year and then go pro. BYU might not be a bad fit for him. He likely would be if not the go to scorer, certainly a go to scorer. He would play for a team that has a shot of being pretty good and perhaps making a decent run in March- assuming Haarms and Barcello also return and BYU has a splendid history of sending folks to go pro- much like the Dollar rental car commercial usually it is not in sports.
