out of the sports programs at a small school in a tough city like Charleston is.

Some kids are gonna come from some cutthroat & rather scary backgrounds. That sports program is gonna bring in some kids that surely wouldn't be in college if not for that opportunity. And yet there's still a lot of very polite & humble poor folk in that area, too. My best friend who I visit every few years — he lives in a pretty rough part of North Charleston, so I wasn't AT ALL surprised by what happened at the CC game this last season.

Keena Young, Frank Bartley & Corby Eason are a few examples from the deep south of kids who were pretty solid fits for BYU. Even though Frank didn't last, he was still a good fit as far as I could see.
