Agree. Reduce playoffs to top 6 would help, but there's no going back
The play in idea is the worst decision they have made in a while for reasons you stated
You make a higher seed in a 7 game series have 5 games at home instead of 4, that would help dramatically. It's no different than the heavy advantage an nfl team has playing one playoff game at home vs road
