Talked to a guy who says he doesn’t need to keep his big dog inside or behind a fence because he “lives out in the country.” He does have a big lot with farmer fields on two sides, but there is a subdivision on the other side and his house is right on the road so his dog chases everything that goes by. By the age of his house, I’d guess he probably at some point didn’t have many neighbors.

Thoughts? Where would you need to live to feel good about having dogs that stay outside full time and aren’t fenced in?
