Useless - he’s an entertainer. He’s not in the same sphere as Stephen A., but that’s ultimately what he is. Does he have any impact on the actual draft? No. But honestly, without guys like Mel Kiper, would you have ever heard of Trey Lance? Would you have been able to tell me which offensive linemen would go first? What about which corners would go top 15? Guys like this do their scouting and then they give a pretty accurate representation of the first round.

Clueless - just because Kiper doesn’t have Zach as the #2 QB doesn’t mean he’s clueless. It’s hilarious, as soon as someone doesn’t like a BYU guy, or says something negative about BYU, they become a “media hack who’s totally clueless.” And here’s the thing: Kiper doesn’t even hate Wilson. He has him #3 behind the guy who threw 6 TDs against Clemson, and who threw 41 TDs last year. That’s not an insane projection.

But looking at his mock draft, he didn’t quite get the order right, but he absolutely nailed the top 15. He had 14/15 of the correct players picked, and the one he missed went 16. That’s pretty insane.
