I try and save at least an additional 10% on anything I buy using GCs.

You can regularly find GCs for a variety of stores for at least 10% off. I have a BoA card that pays 3% back on all online shopping so that would bump it up to 13%. Sometimes you find GCs for 20% off.

Sam's Club and Costco always have discounts. I've been able to buy $50 restaurant GC for as low as $35.
