I'd love for BYU to win but I've chalked it up as a loss. BYU football is stuck on the outside looking in at the other P5 programs and there is very little that they can do about it. Utah has better schedules, more money, and infinitely more access to a national title and even national prominence.

Even if BYU managed to beat Utah, I would see it as BYU and Utah being on the same level or playing field. It would be more of a flukey upset (like BYU losing to USF or Toledo or UMass or CCU or ...).

To even start the discussion that BYU & Utah are close to equal, BYU needs to get 2-3 wins in a row. And even then Utah will still have better schedules and infinitely more access.
