They just restructured his contract so that he's either the guy or they have to cut him. They can't have him making 35 million a year as a utility player. That contract kind of eliminated that option for the Saints. They have to throw him out there as QB and if he doesn't work they just cut him and move on. Maybe they could sign him again under a different contract, who knows.
