I totalled one of my cars (lousy deer) so Geico is sending me a check.
It's been 11 business days and still no check, so I called Geico and learned the following things:
-They send all checks via USPS with no tracking and no certified mail, so they have no idea where my check is.
-As it happens, the location the check was sent from is about 1500 miles from me. That's a little less than the distance the pony express used to travel (St Joseph, MO to San Francisco), and they could deliver mail in 10 days.
-If Geico had sent the check to me via pony express I would have it by now....
Luckily this was just my little commuter car. Can't imagine the frustration if you're waiting like this for a big check.
