Fresh seafood is amazing, especially lobster
There is nothing more delicious than most fresh seafood, and nothing more disgusting than seafood that has been allowed to get a bit funky. Most landlocked states have very limited access to good, fresh seafood.
I grew up in Utah and hated seafood clear up until my mission to Japan. Japan changed my perspective completely.

I felt that way until I had actual fresh-caught seafood at a good restaurant, then I couldn’t get enough.
