But they're pretty bad now.

Tried them last year after a long break and the meat was so tough and dry I couldn't even finish it.

What’s the best BBQ joint in utah? Spending a week in SLC area next week. I like to try local BBQ when I travel.

I actually agree with this sentiment. I don’t pick a BBQ place based on the sides, the meat is what it’s all about. But

Their new location on State Street was underwhelming a couple weeks ago. Not as good as the old location was.

I've tried Pat's 3 times. Disappointed each time. The brisket was particularly bad.

I like R&R at their original location on 6th South and 3rd West. Some of their other locations are hit-and-miss.

I think Utah County has some surprisingly good food. BBQ unfortunately isn’t one of them.

BamBams is the best for brisket, R&R (downtown or Lehi location) is pretty good for other meats. R&R’s other locations
