Everyone needs to remember, Tom Brady was Tom Brady because of coaching...
...staffs developing him and all the supporting personnel around him, their ability to game plan for every opponent better than any other staff, and they ability to prepare that team to win week to week. By the time Brady moved on, he was as sharp as Belichick at understanding the entire organization picture and if you think he did not come into Tampa Bay and help shape their approach to the game, your crazy. Zach is at a point in his career where all the things that were OUT OF BRADY'S CONTROL early on, are the same for ZACH. Everyone needs to know ZACH does not have BRADY's environment when he went to NE as a rookie. BUT, if any organization looks as if it might be the next NE in terms of staff, it's the Jets.

We'll see what transpires, but I think the biggest mistake people make when analyzing players, especially critical position players like a QB, a Middle LB, a Safety is that they can make all the difference in the world when their talent and ability can only go as far as the surrounding environment can take them. Yes they can promote leadership and improve skill sets, but there are 50 people involved in building a successful Tom Brady-Bill Belichick franchise. The same is going to be true for Zach Wilson and the long odds tend to be against it. Look at small and few dynasties of high achieving QB's, Montana-Young (SF) and John Elway (Denver), Payton Manning (Indianapolis) and Mahones (KC).

Winning a Super Bowl is really hard, but getting into a position to do that is almost as difficult. Building a winning franchise looks visually like it rests entirely on the foundation of THE GUY at QB. But it really rests on the shoulders of all those other people every bit as much and the jury is completely out on whether or not the JETS have the rest of that supporting cast at this point. Of ALL the pieces that are most important aside from the QB, gamesmanship, the chess side of game planning and personnel prep for game management is why coaches like Shanahan, Walsh, Belichick and Dungey were winners.
