There is no secret I like being Indy for many reasons already discussed. However, as the landscape changes and ONLY IF BYU feels it would be best to join a conference (G5), then I would like to see the AAC expand to 14 teams.

My preferences would include:

1) BYU
2) BSU - includes strong program and bowl
3) SDSU - probably includes a bowl, Cali recruiting

ALTERNATIVES:

4) UNLV - possible bowl
5) CSU
6) AFA - although the AAC does not want another academy, AFA adds viewers

This would make for interesting divisions, with each playing six divisional games, three or four crossover games.

West division:

BYU, BSU, Houston, Memphis, SDSU, SMU, Tulsa

East division:

Cincinnati, East Carolina, Navy, Temple, Tulane, UCF, USF

I LIKE IT, although the West division on paper would be the toughest… switching Memphis and Tulane would help in evening the two divisions
