Read up on the growth following the Yellowstone fires. I've seen the new growth
that can follow a fire in multiple states, and although it's not what you wanted now, there will still be beauty even if it's different from what you planned on. Fire is part of almost every ecosystem that I'm familiar with in the west.

My buddy was in a similar situation with with fires 2018. Lost a structure and decimated a once promising hunting
