Even if only a third of our alumni base were from Utah, that’s hundreds of thousands of BYU alumni who are from Utah and could potentially be Jazz fans.

That hardly supports your argument that the Jazz don’t have fans who are BYU fans. It’s the exact opposite. The largest single concentration of BYU students come from Utah.
