For recent guys, I really liked Saquon Barkley but he may be done before too long. The constant pounding and injuries burn them out so fast.
They have different styles. Some catch better than others. Some run routes better than others. Some fumble less frequently than others. Regardless, there is a guy on your team's roster who hardly plays who could be essentially as effective as guys who play more.
Henry is obviously a step above any of the others. He can handle 30 or more touches per game and wear down a defense more than a replacement player. What he can do in the second half of games especially sets him apart.
Regardles, paying a running back is a waste. They get hurt. They burn out fast. Their effectiveness is too dependent on the offensive line.
If you want a running game, pay the offensive line and manage running backs like the Patriots.
