No difficulty getting permits to kill birds that attacked our blueberry farm
Even got a permit from the state to shoot pheasants that flew across the fence from the neighbor's place where they were being raised for future release under contract with the state. They paid him to raise them and let us shoot and eat them for free.

Starlings, sparrows, cedar wax wings, finches, blackbirds, etc... fire away. Robins... check to see if they had a Canadian passport first.
