Whatever happened to the old saying "The series hasn't really started until...
...the home team loses"?
I always thought it was kind of a silly statement. Tough to say that there was no series if the home team won every game.
But I don't necessarily think this game means much more than any other game. Maybe the Jazz want to show that the 30 pt win by the Clippers was an anomaly. Winning is certainly better than losing. But if the Clippers win, that just means that it's now a 3 game series. And if the Jazz win, that just makes it a 1 game series for the Clippers - win or go home.
1-2 and 2-2 seem pretty common for evenly matched opponents. I'm not sure we should expect anything different.
