I'm contemplating it and would like to get some real world advice. Mine is 2004 but I see that they are all mostly the same. I am cheap, but the main reason for me doing it is to work with my teenage son, so I don't want it to turn into a disaster. I've rebuilt some VW engines back in the day, but don't have much experience with modern cars. I think that I have all the equipment that I need except the crankshaft nut. If its an all day job I'm hoping that I can get it done in a week.
