If you get stuck, the first thing that you should do is let out air pressure to about 8psi (about the time it starts making a squeaking sound). When you run narrow width stock tires in sand, the tires will cut through the surface of the sand and the vehicle will sink to the axles. The idea is to get the wheels spinning to get the tires on top of the sand, and having under-inflated wider tires makes a huge difference.
