I always try to pay off the balance each month or at least the previous month’s

balance. My wife never looks at our balance or makes the credit card payments. I could pay off the entire balance by the end of the pay period (23rd) of each month and still have a couple hundred to a $1k balance by the end of the month.

Around holidays the unchecked spending gets worse. I usually end up having to pay a little interest at the beginning of the next year.

I put none, but I do carry interest free balances and promotional balances on HomeDepot and Amazon
