We'll have no one over 6'11 this season, & no one with his level of ability to score against solid interior defense. Haarms's hands & wrists may have been too small & frail to make him much of a rebounder, but he still put a ton of pressure on the boards on both ends — which led to teammates (particularly Lohner) corralling an awful lot of boards. He had a great set of shoulders on him.
I think we'll get better rebounding from Gavin & Fouss, but our rim-protection will likely be a fraction of what it was last season. Which could mean our opponents score on us a lot easier this season.
