The background setting of dumpy Albuquerque made Breaking Bad more believable
Today all these network shows are in NY, LA, or Chicago. That's where these writers all come from so they stick to what they know.
But Albuquerque is a city that more Americans relate to. Nothing glamorous. Just our safe little suburb with shady parts of town that we know.
Sad that Network TV continues to sticks to the same old script of Hospital/Police/Lawyer storyline in NY/LA/Chicago
