This year has shown why its unwise to put your eggs in one basket. The whole offense hinges on Conley. They have no flexibility in their personnel, even if Snyder wanted to adj. One guy goes down, the whole factory comes to a grinding halt.Dont get me wrong, the jazz, when healthy wouldnt be stopped offensively by anyone in a 7 game series (their defense could still lose games, but offense would get theirs). The playoffs are all about having the personnel to make adj. ...adjustments by series or within a series. Here's what I think they need to attack in the off-season, from my uneducated point of view
1) Point Guard - love healthy Conley but that won't exist on any consistent basis again. Jazz need 2 of them, one must be a solid parameter defender
2) Offensive Wing - keep Royce, but need another solid option who can score to add more flexibility to that position, based on matchups
3) Center flexibly - find another Center that's not like Favors, smaller is fine. Sometimes we just need a different look than trying to play the exact same way with Rudy's backup (PnR, defend the paint)
4) Ingles contingency plan - Joe had a nice year, but his age is showing a bit as the season wore on. Need to figure out a replacement to gradually start phasing in.
