I’m not sure they would. Has Rudy ever shown an ability to score in the post?
Even with a little guy on him. Now if Rudy can get that little guy locked on his back and get his feet in the paint, by all means get him the ball. But if he’s starting 12 feet from the hoop, I’m not worried if I’m the opposing team.
Also if you send help, I’m not worried about Rudy making the other team pay. You turn Rudy into a playmaker on offense and you’re winning the battle.
