The argument for AAC or indy is what happens when we are good enough.
It really comes down to the playoffs which is what got us talking AAC or indy way more anyways. The other stuff can be argued for what we will normally do.

On a year that BYU is good enough to make the playoff, assuming 11-1 or 12-0, BYU would have better playoff access in the AAC than indy regardless of who we play because of a guarentee already put in place instead of a biased committee ranking us. Playoff money is big money and we'd get more of that money (and dont forget exposure) if we make the playoffs which wouldn't happen as an independent.

In a normal season where we are in the mix for a conference championship or just playing a normal independent season, AAC would be more fun. Schedule isnt much different when looking at future schedules. TV isnt much different in the AAC. All other arguments seem to be in favor of the AAC from what I've seen on here.

In the end though, when we have a good enough team for the playoff, they deserve a shot. What's the point if you can never make the playoffs when everything else is even or leans AAC anyways? A guarentee is better than a chance.
