he will get another offer bigger than the MLE. I think that would be about 10mn. The Jazz would probably pay 1mn more than his highest offer, so maybe 11-12mn, but that's a HUGE PAYCUT from the 30+ that he has been making. The only polite way to present such an offer is to tell the guy to go find out his market value by shopping around. That doesn't mean "goodbye" though.
