Just saw In the Heights with my kids tonight. First time in more than a year that I was in a theater with a decent size crowd in more than a year. Two observations:
1. In the Heights is a fantastic movie musical. I loved every minute of it. The music, the acting, the choreography, the cinematography were all just amazing. I would see it (and probably will see it) in a theater again for sure.
2. A year of watching movies at home has made people forget movie etiquette. Ive never been in a theater with more people talking at normal voice levels, texting, playing games with their little kids, etc. come on people! You’re not at home watching movies after the family barbecue. Sheesh! Show some respect for the audience and the movie experience.
