But you are correct, for Lax/Rugby/ M Soccer they are all each one of the few programs in their league that has everything paid for by the school.

Hockey never had that level of support.

This is only an issue because BYU is dropping affiliation, it’s not the reason.

Yes, for some. Teams that are officially extramurals are paid for by the school. Lax/Rugby/M Soccer/Raquetball

The extramural sports (hockey, rugby, lax, soccer) are not overseen by the AD.
