Not endorsed by the team
Not all players were involved and only a few coaches were involved. AJ Hinch found out about it well after it was implemented but he did not stop it when he found out and that is why he was fired...deservedly so. Except for players (they were protected and not sure what the team would have done with them anyway) everyone in the organization who was involved or knew anything was terminated. And that was only a few individuals.

MLB screwed up the management of the investigation. I think they were focused on protecting MLB at the expense of the truth...and what information was shared. There was evidence of at least 7 other teams doing the same thing. Don’t know if the execution was the same, but using cameras and communicating signals to batters was being used.

And I am not making excuses for the cheating. It was wrong and I am thoroughly disappointed it happened. But to think they were alone is just plain naive.
