A potential Conley trade; facilitated by Ben Simmons
So the 76ers need to trade Ben Simmons. But the Jazz absolutely can't take him on, not with Gobert a non-shooter already.
The most commonly suggested deal is Simmons for CJ McCollum. Which isn't bad, but leaves the 76ers with a woeful backcourt defense (neither McCollum nor Curry plays much defense), and probably necessitates that they trade someone.
So at that point they could swap out George Hill and Seth Curry for Mike Conley, giving them a starting lineup of Conley, McCollum, Thybulle, Harris, Embiid.
Utah would have George Hill as a nominal point guard and defensive option and Seth Curry as a perfect guy to play off of Donovan Mitchell since he's an incredible shooter.

It's an interesting thought, but apparently something happened with George Hill & the Jazz where he would never play
