You definitely need to let them know because they might need to change her seat.
Flying with twins has always been an adventure (glad they're old enough to do much better now). With Delta, my understanding is that each grouping has one more oxygen mask than it does seats. This allows for one infant-in-arms per grouping. We would usually buy the middle seat so we could all sit together. Otherwise, they would have needed to split us up so we didn't end up with 5 people for 4 oxygen masks.
