blitz. As someone mentioned risk/reward, the more guys you send the higher the risk so if you don't get to the qb with a sack/hurry or at least make him uncomfortable then your risk goes way up.

Good db's make it easier to take risks and blitzing, mediocre db's and you better get to the qb on your blitz or you're in trouble
