Your response to my post is not my responsibility, it's yours. If you want to assume the mere mention of Robert E. Lee means I sympathize with his fighting against the Union or what have you, that's your assumption, and it's a very ridiculous one. He's divisive because most people, and I must assume you're one of them, don't have the mental dexterity to see that few things are black and white, and there are some very good people out there who were put in difficult situations and did the best they could.
I'm not praising Hitler here. I've read a great deal on Lee, and I stand by my position that he was a very good man. I'd like to know what your position is based on other than he fought for the South. I'm guessing nothing else. The angry and antagonistic tone of your post also reveals your inability to admit to any viewpoints other than your own and an inflexible view of reality. I lose no sleep at night in finding virtue in a man like Robert E. Lee.
