Seemed crazy. Probably was crazy. But it worked and they’re making more now than they ever did before.

Watching them made me think a lot about the underlying motivations of it all. They aren’t looking to freeload. They work really hard running a business by themselves. But they just couldn’t do the desk job garbage anymore. Needed to feel like they actually like what they do.

If I was good enough at anything that I like, I’d quit and try to make a go of it. Unfortunately, I’m a medium drummer, a poor guitarist, a bad mountain biker, and just an okay cook. So with all the things I like, I’m not gonna make any money.
