Wife just tested positive for COVID. She got the JNJ vaccine in March.
She's doing well, all things considered. Mostly cold symptoms--headache and sore throat.
Our kids are sicker with some kind of stomach bug that kept two of them up all night.
Guess it's better now than when we go to Oregon for two weeks.

Bummer. Hopefully it stays really mild since she's vaccinated.

Fingers crossed. She's had kidney issues and mono symptoms for the last while

Most people forget the primary role of a vaccine is not to prevent reinfection,

I got the J&J in March as well, would I be able to get Moderna or Pfizer?

CDC currently recommends no second dose after J&J and no mixing brands

I just don’t like the fear mongering that is happening with the delta variant

should be fine and have mild symptoms is all. JNJ prepared her body well enough
